Creator Connect: let creators connect their own accounts

What it does

Creator Connect lets you email a creator a link. They open it, sign in to their own social platforms, and their accounts land in the workspace you chose — without you ever holding their password, and without them needing an account here.

The page they see carries your branding, not ours: your logo, your colour, your name on the email. As far as the creator is concerned, the invitation came from you.

Before you start

  • Creator Connect is included with Enterprise. On any other plan it is an add-on at $99.99/month — you will find it on the Billing tab of your Hub, under the account that pays.
  • Each workspace needs a creator email saved on it. That is the address the link is sent to, and until it is filled in the button stays greyed out.

Setting up your branding

Once the add-on is active, a Branding tab appears in your Hub. Set:

  • Company name — who the creator sees is asking.
  • Logo — shown on the invitation email and the connect page. It also replaces the site icon and sidebar logo inside your creators' workspaces.
  • Accent colour — used for buttons and links on the page.
  • Sender name and reply-to — how the email is signed, and where replies go.

If you leave branding empty, your account name is used, so a creator never sees ours.

Your branding on workspace emails

Branding no longer stops at the connect page and the invitation. Once you have saved it, the routine emails your workspaces send come from you as well:

  • An account has stopped posting and needs reconnecting
  • The weekly reminder that an account is still disconnected
  • An invitation to join a workspace
  • Activity on a post — comments and approvals
  • A collaborator a platform would not accept

Each one carries your logo, your company name, your accent colour and your reply-to address, with no mention of us anywhere in it.

Two emails deliberately keep our template: password resets and email address verification. Someone can belong to more than one agency here, so there is no single right logo for the email that gets them back into their account — and the wrong agency’s name on a security email is worse than no agency’s.

Emails are still sent from our address, which is what keeps them out of spam folders. What the recipient sees in the From line is your name, and replies go to you.

If you have not saved any branding, nothing changes — those emails keep their standard look.

Sending a link

  1. Go to Workspaces in your Hub.
  2. Find the creator’s workspace and click Send a link, next to Open.
  3. The email goes to that workspace’s creator email.

The button label tells you where things stand afterwards — Resend link, Opened, resend, or how many accounts they connected.

What the creator sees

A short branded page listing three things: accounts that need reconnecting, accounts already connected, and platforms they have not connected yet. They pick a platform, sign in with it directly, and come back to the same page.

They can connect X, Facebook Pages, Instagram (through Facebook), Threads, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Bluesky, Mastodon and Telegram.

Telegram is slightly different

Telegram has no “sign in with Telegram” button, so the creator makes their own bot: they message @BotFather, send /newbot, paste the token into the page, add the bot to their channel as an administrator with Post Messages switched on, then pick the channel. The page walks them through it.

Their own bot means nobody else’s channel is affected if theirs is ever restricted.

Links expire, and you can revoke them

  • A link lasts 14 days.
  • Sending again issues a new link and kills the old one — useful if the first went to the wrong inbox.
  • Accounts a creator already connected stay connected if a link expires or is revoked. Revoking stops the link, not the accounts.

If something goes wrong

  • “This link isn’t available” — the link has expired, been replaced by a newer one, or been revoked. Send a fresh one.
  • No Instagram accounts came back — the creator needs to tick their Facebook Page during login, and the Instagram account must be a Business or Creator account linked to it. See Facebook and Instagram linking.
  • Send a link is greyed out — that workspace has no creator email saved.
